Mid 2020, Karmen took a leap of faith. She made a career swap from a senior management position in the financial sector to starting up her own boutique, Huis Vikarti. Next to shopping for clothes, jewelry and handbags, customers are given the opportunity to participate in a ceramics workshop. She got the passion for ceramics through her mom, who has been working with ceramics herself for years.

Karmen attaches great importance to sustainability. For example, she traveled this summer to her suppliers to see with her own eyes how the clothing are made.
