The different types of ecological attachments
As indicated in our previous blog, where we delved deeper into the aspect of sustainability, we since recently offer you an ecological alternative to the classical textile attachments. About 80 billion garments are manufactured every year, of which 90% have a single-use plastic fastener. As a result, approximately 72 billion attachments are produced each year for the clothing industry. Very recently, we started offering a completely new line of staples, namely the Ecotach™. It has been specially developed to meet the needs of environmentally conscious retailers, brand owners and consumers who want to reduce their carbon footprint. EcoTach ™ rPA – Recycled nylon attachments on clips
The rPA attachments, manufactured from recycled nylon, use at least 74% post-consumer waste from recycled carpets. Each box of rPA pins thus eliminates 5,5 m² of nylon carpet! Its gray color gives it its own unique, sustainable look and feel.
The bio and rPA pins are both attachments on clips but have a different focus. Depending on your strategy, or the vision of your customers, you will preference will tilt to one of both solutions.

EcoTach ™ rPET – recycled plastic attachments
The rPET attachments contain at least 90% post-consumer waste from recycled plastic bottles. They are thus made from recycled PET or polyethylene terephthalate. For example, every roll of 834 rPET pins reduces the landfill load by more than 8 plastic bottles! These attachments can be recognized by the recycling symbol applied to the paddle. As a result, your client will immediately link your brand with sustainability, creating a positive image.
